I thought the world was in trouble... I thought the world was in trouble... then I watched tonight's 6 o'clock news and realized we are totally screwed

Tonight's stories:

- "early voting" (whatever the f--- that is) indicates that there are serious ballot problems in Florida

- Ohio uses four DIFFERENT voting systems

- 18 states still use chads and punch cards

- 3 - 5 states have NO tracking / recount system - so not only could the Supreme Count end up appointing the president again, they might do it with no votes to recount

- the leader of the UN is being called on to step down over the 'oil for food' scandal

- the 9-11 Commission's reccomendations of screening cargo are still not working

- Temecula residents are up in arms because immigrants want to pick vegetables

This is why I ussually work past 6pm. At least it was'nt the local news.
