Search Scout is cool!! NOT
More annoying than Clippy the Microsoft word animated letter helper paper clip ever dreamed.*
Somehow some spyware is now in my computer so anytime I type a google search I get a related popup from SearchScout. Here is the note I emailed thier company:
I hope your company fails miserably like all the other crappy dot-coms who make BS business plans that dont add any value to the world.
Search scout is an annoying and pathetic attempt to grub money without serving any purpose. When you are unemployed and have to pay taxes on worthless stock options just think about the greedy executives of your company rubbing thier hands together at the thought of VC money from a stupid piece of software that cant be uninstalled.Get a real business plan like eBay or Amazon, better yet, get a life. You suck.
thier contact form for Claria, thier parent company is here
annoying crap software and thier phone number is 650-980-1500 - call collect.
*Clippy was killed by Bill Gates in 2001 due to the 9 million hate mails Microsoft received, geeks and letter writers everywhere rejoiced.
Get ready, Set your Tivos
Whats with this "Leno Leaving in 2009" Conan O'Brian thing?
Its
FIVE years away! Plan ahead much? They are already speculating about who Jay's last guest will be (Ahhnold is the favorite). There are few things more pathetic than reporters during a slow news cycle trying to make news where there is none. Top news stories for today are that a woman was arrested for fraudulent cell phone use and the Expos are moving from Montreal.
The reporters wont have to worry long, October is around the corner and Dubbya will surely announce a "surprize" capture of Bin Laden or some terrorist event will give him a pre-election boost.
Put Citizen Ted in the Clone Machine
Day three of my "no Bush bashing" here's a positive message: why the world need more Ted Turners.
Turner is cool, plain and simple.
Here's why he makes Brumax's official list of cool people:
- above all else Turner says what he means and means what he says, how refreshing would the world be if everyone did this?
- founded CNN and changed the way the world gets its news - this is good for ideas, democracy and information
- not only gave a BILLION dollar pledge to charity, he told other rich people to do the same, setting off a wave of billion dollar gifts from people like Bill Gates
- challenged Rupert Murdoch to a boxing match
-won the America's Cup
- preserved over a million acres of land and is such an environmentalist that in the summer he leaves the air conditioning off in his Georgia house– who could ask for more from one man?
Ten Voluntary Initiatives by Ted Turner
1. I promise to care for planet earth and all living things thereon, especially my fellow human beings.
2. I promise to treat all persons everywhere with dignity, respect, and friendliness.
3. I promise to have no more than one or two children.
4. I promise to use my best efforts to help save what is left of our natural world in its undisturbed state and to restore degraded areas.
5. I promise to use as little of our non-renewable resources as possible.
6. I promise to minimize my use of toxic chemicals, pesticides and other poisons and to encourage others to do the same.
7. I promise to contribute to those less fortunate, to help them become self-sufficient and enjoy the benefits of a decent life including clean air and water, adequate food, health care, housing, education and individual rights.
8. I reject the use of force, in particular military force, and I support United Nations arbitration of international disputes.
9. I support doing everything we can to reduce the dangers from nuclear, biological or chemical weapons and ultimately the elimination of all weapons of mass destruction.
10. I support the United Nations and its efforts to improve the conditions of the planet.

PS: In case you've been watching too much O'Reilly factor and think that CNN is the other side of Fox's right wing whackos, I made a chart to help you understand.
Fox is
right biased news, CNN is regular actual news, and NPR is
left biased news. CNN and Fox don't give you "both sides", Fox, CNN and the BBC do. Get it?
Cat Stevens is Leavin' on a Jet Plane (...to Guantanamo)
Pop star and peace activist, Cat Stevens, known for dangerous, subversive songs like "I love my Dog" and "Father and Son" was denied entry to the USA yesterday on what the Bush's Department of Homeland Security calls "national security grounds".
Years ago Stevens converted to Islam, changing his name to Yusef Islam. He often condemned terrorism and was a critic of the Iraq invasion.
In 2001, his songs "Peace Train" and "Morning has Broken" were placed on the infamous Clear Channel Banned List and directed to thousands of radio stations.
An exclusive analysis of one song by the forensic lyric team at CSI Brumax found disturbing clues in the second verse that somehow went unnoticed since the 1970s:
Father and Son (aka I'm gonna bomb you), by Cat Stevens (aka scary hippie)
It's not time to make a change,
Just relax, take it easy.
You're still young, that's your fault,
There's so much you have to know.
Find a girl, settle down,
If you want you can marry.
Look at me, I am old, but I'm happy.
Islam is scary, its different, I hate infidels
I have a bomb in my suitcase that looks like a DVD.
Not all Muslims are evil but I am, just look, I have a beard.
There you have it! Shocking evidence that this seemingly peaceful singer is a true national security threat.
Kudos to the Department of Homeland security for stopping him before he came here and polluted our ears with his IDEAS.
Hopefully they will get Bob Dylan next, after all he helped that Hurricane Carter dude get out of jail when he was obviously guilty, I mean look at him, he's black!
What’s with the Microsoft whiners?
Tell me the deal with all these people crying about Bill Gates all the time. What’s so bad about Bill? So he’s a tough business man. Big deal. Gates and Microsoft have changed the world for the better overall. In America we have competition and

the best product with the best marketing and best management wins. Having the best product alone isn’t and has never been enough and even if it was, MSFT has the best product for 99% of thier target users anyway (target users means people other than freaks who design thier own operating systems or have some 88 step process to run a program so they can save $99).
Remember the crybabies at AOL a few years ago suing Microsoft to try to stop the release of MSN with Windows? Despite their whining AOL won because they had a
better product. At the time MSN was crap. Before that Netscape sued because MSIE was going to be bundled with Windows. Guess what? Netscape’s original plan was to
charge for web browsers. If a company gives something away for free that another charges for, how is that bad for the consumer?
Microsoft could have been killed many times in their existence but they were smarter than the competition. In 1993 Microsoft had something like three employees in the whole company dedicated to “internet” work. When they saw the web trend starting they moved 3000 people to their web department
in about a day. That’s why they succeed.
This Road IS Taken, please try Mapquest
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both
. . .
I look the one less traveled by
And that is why.....
I QUOTE THE SAME DAMN POEM AS EVERY OTHER JACKASS ON THE PLANET!
Seriously people, our world has more than one freakin poem!
Google hits 7,610,000 "road not taken" links...hmm, somebody was busy watching
Springer when it was time to
get a clue.
Quote Shakespeare, rumor is he wrote a poem or two - so did Tupac - better yet, quit trying to impress people: read a book not from high school. Should
aliens land and think Robert Frost earth's only poet?
Frost's point: be DIFFERENT - sure, great poem, just more overdone than Rush Limbaugh's Thanksgiving Day gravy intake.
In the journey of life, if you must quote a poem take a road not taken and don't quote the same friggin one as everyone else.
Till then, I'm going to Frost's little woodland path and constructing a tollbooth.
I have the real truth about Kerry!
GW Bush is a HERO!!
This war with Iraq is so cool with all the bombs and everything-
The truth about Coward Kerry that all you liberals don't want to hear is that he went to Vietnam to avoid service in the Alabama Air National Guard!!
(source: the Onion)
These sissies out there in the so called "war" in Vietnam while our fearless Commander in Chief George Bush II was in the National Guard protecting our own country!
Kerry was clearly afraid he would have to serve in the Air National Guard and so he skipped off to Vietnam - what a liberal coward! Bush is a hero like his dad who was in the CIA! (The CIA is cool!) Serving in the National Guard is TOUGH! Dan Qualye served in the guard and so did Tom Selleck and he played Magnum PI!
Who dealt with the Blizzard of ‘78? The National Guard that's who - not screwing around in Vietnam smoking dope and chasing one guy named Charlie. Bush is the hero here, Kerry is nothing but a coward!
So Kerry got shot a few times - he is obviously faking! Kerry crumbled a TV dinner aluminum wrapper, put it in his leg and called it "shrapnel." As for bronze and silver stars - big deal! Bush was a pilot!!! So his plane was obsolete- he was still a pilot!!! Did Tom Cruise yammer about his "medals" in Top Gun?! No! Medals don’t matter - cool stuff like bombs and guns matter and Bush rocks with that!!
Like when he flew to the Aircraft carrier and said "mission accomplished" that was cool!! I feel safer now - even though he never caught Bin Laden who attacked us on 9-11 - he got Saddam and that’s cool!
As for the year that Bush was missing or AWOL from the guard - obviously he was on a SECRET MISSION - duh! I mean hello---- he’s the only world leader who wears a military uniform (other than Noriega, Quadaffi and Saddam) so he MUST have been on a secret mission. More evidence that all liberals are liars!!
What’s up with this guy who Kerry pulled out of the water during a fire fight and saved his life? Big deal!! Bush maybe saved dozens of people's lives while in the Alabama National Guard he just doesn’t brag and brag about it.
After his Vietnam vacation Kerry had the nerve to criticize it!! Everyone knows that Vietnam was COOL!! What’s there to criticize? Look at all the cool Vietnam movies! He thinks he can complain just cause "he was there" - what about my movies you liberal Boston whiny baby! Kerry’s wrong - we should have stayed forever! Bush’s patriot act is right- people shouldn’t speak out like that. Who does Kerry think he is?
So what if Gen. Wes Clark, Adm. Stansfield Turner, two Chairs of the Joint Chiefs and other military leaders support Kerry - Clark probably lied to get those stars!! Bush is the hero and war is cool!!! The Iraq War is especially cool because the people are different and not that far away from those who actually attacked us on 9-11. Afghanistan and Bin Laden- are only like 1000 miles away from Iraq- that’s closer than Denver to Mexico and look how similar those two places are!! Iraq is practically Bin Laden’s neighbor – if that’s not a reason to invade what is? Not only that, it’s cool!!! Just look at all those rockets and bombs! Saddam might have invaded US if we didn’t invade him first.
As for the Halliburton contracts you liberal babies keep whining about -firstly, its only $7 billion dollars - Bill Gates has way more than that - that’s only $10,000 each from 700,000 people - heck John Coward Kerry and his rich friends have that much. Where else it gonna go? Schools? Save the animals? Secondly- it’s a coincidence that Halliburton got the contract when Dick Cheney worked for them and owns $43 million worth of stock options. When has anyone been dishonest for a measly $43 million? Puleeze! You could end up with a no bid contract at your company tomorrow. Thirdly, the war is cool.
Bush did NOT get where he is because his dad was the president- he was the smartest and bravest and best one in the whole country for the job- if his dad was a mill worker he'd still be the president because greatness rises to the top.
Did the founding fathers want disagreeing with our Commander?! No!! They envisioned an America where you agree with the president, period! What’s with this two party liberal debate whining crap you unpatriotic hippies!? If you don’t like it leave!
Go Bush / Cheney 04!!
